Stamp Prices Have Risen Today
A stamp price increase which was announced a few weeks ago has taken place today on 26 March 2018, with Royal Mail stamps officially increasing in price.
The current price for a first class stamp is now 67p, a 2p increase from the old price which was 65p. To go with this, the second class stamps have also increased with the current price for a second class stamp being 58p now, a 2p rise from 56p.
When announcing the price rise, Royal Mail had stated that they understood that it was hard for companies in the current economic environment. Any changes that were made have been considered carefully to help minimise the impact on customers.
Stamp Prices Increase Across Almost All Types
A full list of all stamp prices can be seen below, with all stamps except fixed price stamps, which remain at the price they were listed at before. The standard service that Royal Mail offers is particularly ideal for sending any non-valuable items in the post.
