SPECTRE Trailer Excites James Bond Fans
We were promised earlier in the year that Bond will be back in 2015 and now that tantalising thought is a little closer to becoming reality with the release this week of the first full-length trailer for SPECTRE, the 24th official James Bond film.
This will be Daniel Craig’s fourth outing as 007 following his role as the super-spy previously in Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace and most recently, Skyfall which was the most successful Bond film of all time having taken a massive $1.1 billion at the global box office.
So what do we know so far about SPECTRE?
The official synopsis of SPECTRE hints that a ‘cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation’.
The new trailer previewing the 24th official James Bond film begins with MI6 boss M (played by Ralph Fiennes) questioning Bond about a recent mission to Mexico City before a further clip of the much anticipated movie shows 007 in Rome where he meets the widow of an infamous criminal.
Also within the two-and-a-half minute clip previewing SPECTRE we get a glimpse of the new head of the Centre for National Security Max Denbigh, played by Sherlock’s Andrew Scott.
Aston Martin with a twist
What’s more the preview of SPECTRE suggests that 007 will have a number of impressive gadgets to call upon including a new ultra-speedy Aston Martin DB10 complete with a flame-fuelled turbo button judging by the glimpse we get of a car chase along the famous Ponte Sisto bridge in Rome.
Since 1964’s Goldfinger, the third James Bond film released, the Aston Martin has been Bond’s car of choice in 11 Bond films spanning nearly 50 years of cinema history. It all began with the Aston Martin DB5.
Sam Mendes is the director of SPECTRE which will be released in UK cinemas on 26 October. Not long to go now!
