Last Posting Dates For Christmas 2015
The Christmas Day is getting closer and the 2015 Christmas Stamps are available, so you can send letters and parcels to your loved ones, with an added festive touch.
If you’re planning to send cards and presents to loved ones residing in far flung places in time for Christmas, our last posting dates for Christmas 2015 guide provides all the information you need.
International Standard explained
In exactly one month to this day (4th December), it will be the last posting date for sending International Standard (formerly Airmail) and all International Tracking and Signature Services (formerly Airsure and International Signed For to Africa and the Middle East.
By referring to the Royal Mail price finder guide you can establish the cost of sending an item to the desired country in Africa or the Middle East. Using 2015 Christmas Stamps it is possible to send a letter up to 100g or parcel up to 2kg; the exact price will be dictated by the dimensions and weight of the letter or parcel concerned.
The deadlines for sending cards and parcels to other parts of the world vary starting from Monday 7th December for countries in Asia, Cyprus, Far East, Japan as well as parts of Eastern Europe (excluding Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia).
The longest leading time when sending items via International Standard applies to Belgium, Denmark, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Slovakia and Switzerland. The deadline for these countries is Friday 18th December.
Via International Standard, compensation may be payable if proof of posting and evidence can be provided. It is not possible to track an item online using this service.
