Last Posting Dates For Christmas 2014
The countdown to Christmas needs to begin in earnest for those with family and friends in far flung places around the world. That’s because surface mail last posting dates for the majority of non-European destinations is less than two weeks away!
Surface mail for all non-European destinations except Middle East, South Africa, Far East, the USA and Canada must be sent by Monday 29th September in time to reach its destination in time for Christmas. And a day later, surface mail intended for the Middle and Far East (except Hong Kong and Singapore) needs to be posted in order to beat the Christmas deadline.
So whilst shops on the high street may not be filled with festive cheer just yet, anyone sending parcels overseas needs to embrace the Christmas spirit earlier than most!
Looking a little further ahead and the deadline for sending surface mail to South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore, the USA and Canada is also only a month away. Surface mail items to these countries must be sent by Tuesday 14th October.
